The short version: your extension profile is stored in your browser. Readier has no developer-operated profile server, advertising tracker or remote AI service. Filling an application shares selected information with that website, which may receive drafts before you submit.
Ordinary profile storage is not encrypted by Readier. A password’s eye button only hides or shows text on screen.
Information the extension handles
You choose what to provide. Readier can store and process:
- Personal and contact details, address, education, work history, qualifications, licenses and application preferences.
- Reusable answers and the question wording needed to match them to compatible questions.
- Résumé and supporting-document files you attach, including optional cover letters. Files are attachments, not the source of profile answers.
- Optional demographic information, which can include disability or health-related answers, race or ethnicity, gender, veteran status and sexual orientation. Leave these fields blank if you do not want them stored or filled.
- Optional saved account credentials and a separate optional security-question vault.
- Local settings, selected document variants, undo snapshots, and optional diagnostic information.
On supported pages, the extension reads form structure, field labels, offered options, current field values and the site/frame context needed to identify and fill questions. It does not request the browser-history API. It remembers optional-question choices for up to 200 recent applications using hashed application identifiers.
How answers are used
Readier uses your saved information to fill confidently matched fields and verify their selected values. Its bundled field-intent classifier runs on your device. It does not generate qualifications, transmit field text to an AI provider or guarantee that different wording has the same meaning.
After setup and the local-data disclosure are complete, enabled Readier can save committed answers you enter directly on recognized application forms, even without an Autofill click. This passive saving excludes ambiguous questions, passwords and profile-managed contact/history fields. It does not move your cursor or scroll. You can delete reusable answers in Profile or turn Readier Off to stop capture.
General-form filling outside job applications requires a toolbar invocation and a click on Fill personal details. That mode uses contact details only, preserves existing entries and does not fill passwords, payment fields, consents, employment questions, documents or unrelated embedded frames. Personal filling and capture are restricted to HTTPS workflows.
When information leaves the browser
When you use Autofill, save an answer through the sidebar, or enable Autofill next pages, selected data is entered into the chosen website or attached to its upload field. The employer or recruiting provider may receive it through draft autosaving before submission. Those recipients handle it under their own policies.
Exported backups or diagnostics leave extension storage when you export them. Anyone you share the files with may receive their contents. Readier does not automatically upload diagnostics, profiles or documents to its developer. A cover letter attached from the sidebar is scoped to that application page and is not added to your reusable Profile unless you upload it in Profile.
Readier does not sell extension user data, use it for advertising or transfer it for creditworthiness or lending decisions. Access and use are limited to the user-facing form-filling, saving and related support purposes described here.
Your choices and controls
- Stop autofill cancels pending work; it cannot retract values or files already sent to a website.
- Off stops detection, filling and passive answer capture across tabs until you turn Readier on again. Closing the sidebar alone does not turn it off.
- Autofill next pages is optional and fills a detected next page after navigation; it does not automatically submit applications.
- Allow multiple-tab autofill defaults on when no setting is saved. It permits up to two requested fills at once; extra requested fills wait.
- Additional document uploads and terms/acknowledgment acceptance require explicit Profile opt-ins. Review every consent and attachment before proceeding.
Account Autofill uses saved credentials only on recognized account forms when invoked. A separate user action is needed to sign in, create an account or continue. Signature fields may use your saved name and the current local date. Autofill does not submit an application; any separate final submission action requires a click and confirmation. CAPTCHA remains manual.
Storage and security
Ordinary local profiles, saved passwords, reusable answers and undo snapshots are not encrypted by Readier. People with access to your device or browser profile may be able to read them. Use an account-specific password, leave saved credentials blank if you prefer, and consider a browser password manager.
Existing encrypted profiles remain protected until you unlock them and explicitly choose Remove encryption. Optional exported backups are passphrase-encrypted and may contain passwords and documents. There is no passphrase recovery.
Optional security questions use a separate passphrase-encrypted vault for manual reference. They are not sent to application pages, answer matching or diagnostic exports. Use its dedicated save/export controls: the normal profile backup does not include that separate vault.
The extension code and classifier ship in the package. There is no remotely hosted executable code. Passwords are excluded from reusable answers, Quick Copy and diagnostic exports. These safeguards do not make local storage immune to device compromise.
Permissions and diagnostics
Website access lets Readier detect supported forms across recruiting domains and embedded questionnaires. Scripting supports framework-compatible input and toolbar interactions. Navigation access identifies form frames. Local and expanded storage hold settings, answers and attachments. The public sidebar icon contains no user information.
Optional diagnostics may contain a site origin, question labels, offered options, classifications and failure reasons. The Application QA Recorder excludes entered/profile values, passwords, document contents, screenshots and full page HTML. Labels can still contain personal information: review and redact every export before sharing it privately with support.
Retention, access and deletion
You can view and edit your profile and saved answers in the extension. Data stays in this browser until you change or erase it, or uninstall the extension. Reset profile retains reusable answers and an undo snapshot. For complete removal, open Profile → Settings → Backup, privacy & troubleshooting → Erase all data and confirm. This also removes snapshots and security questions.
Separately exported files remain on your device until you delete them. Clearing Readier does not remove information already sent to employers; contact the relevant website for those copies. Because Readier does not hold your local profile on a developer server, support cannot remotely recover or erase it.

This website and support email
This website provides product, privacy and support information. Its application code does not use analytics, advertising scripts, contact forms, browser storage or tracking cookies. The hosting infrastructure necessarily processes request information such as IP addresses and browser/request metadata to deliver and secure the site, and may use its own technical logs or service mechanisms. Those infrastructure operations are separate from the extension’s local profile.
If you email Readier, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Microsoft Outlook is the email service used for that correspondence. We use these messages to answer your request and investigate issues, and retain them only as needed for those purposes or applicable obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence. Do not send passwords, full profile exports, medical information or authentication links.
